The Berkshire Reading Council provides an educational, professional network that promotes literacy for all learners. Affiliated with the Massachusetts Reading Association and the International Reading Association. Goals: -To provide and participate in professional development programs -To invigorate the quality of classroom instruction -To participate in community service projects promoting literacy in the county -To encourage reading as a lifelong habit -To offer social networking for those interested in literacy
